About the George Masa Foundation
Climate change will largely be an inherited challenge.
We want to inspire young people to be like Masa and creatively face the environmental challenges of their generation.
What’s in the works:
Educational opportunities through virtual workshops and an annual conference held in Asheville, NC.
An annual media contest where young people will have an opportunity to tell their stories and inspire others.
Provide grant funding and technical support for conservation and climate action projects within their own communities.
What we’ve been up to:

Our DEI Commitment
At George Masa Foundation, we are committed to fostering a welcoming environment where every individual, regardless of their background, identity, or perspective, feels empowered, heard, and appreciated. We believe that having multiple perspectives helps generate better ideas to solve the complex problems of a changing climate. Through embracing the richness of our differences and promoting equitable opportunities, we strive to create a stronger, more innovative community that thrives on mutual respect and understanding.
